How to reach us

By car

Higway (tollway) A11 Firenze mare (from A1 Roma – Milano towards A11 ) exit at Lucca Est, then turn left on Viale Europa (with Mc Donald on the right). At the traffic light straight on to the overpass, at the roundabouts the direction is in front of you, so take the second exit, then follow the road with the historic wall of Lucca on your right. At the traffice light with an entrance on the right “S.anna door” go straight following the street in front of you, always with the wall on your right. Next you reach another traffic light with another door, keep going on. After two traffic lights you reach a third door called ‘porta S.Maria’ where you can go inside the ancient part of the city**. Turn right in via della cavallerizza then go on in a one way street since you arrive in front of San Frediano church and after you have turned right following the right side of the church, you have to turn left in via Cesare Battisti and after 100 meters you are arrived. On your right there is the ancient door of the hotel***

** WARNING car access inside historic center of Lucca is limited, but you can reach the private parking for free.

By train

Lucca railway station is connected to Pisa, Florence, Viareggio. When you get out the station from city side, you can see the historic wall of the ancient city. Cross the square and turn left since S.Pietro door. Take the left side of the door, then straight by via san girolamo to Napoleone square. cross the square and keep the left side, going to via vittorio veneto and the next square S.Michele. Straight along keeping the left side of the square, then after via Calderia reach S.Salvatore square (so called ‘della pupporona’ as a present to the naked Naiade statue over a fountain, carved by Nottolini) with a fountain of good water. Take via Cesare Battisti on the right of the fountain and after 50 meters you are in front of the hotel entrance on your left.***

By aeroplane

Lucca is close to Pisa and Florence airport , then you can easily reach Lucca by car , train or bus

By taxi

By bus

the two main bus company, CTT and Vaibus, have a main bus stop in piazzale Verdi, inside the ancient wall. From that square follow the S.paolino street (with your back to the door the street on the left) following that street to the end you reach S.Michele square witha big white church. Turn left, then straight ahead to via Calderia, then after via Calderia you reach S.Salvatore square (so called ‘della pupporona’ as a present to the naked Naiade statue over a fountain, carved by Nottolini) with a fountain of good water. Take via Cesare Battisti on the right of the fountain and after 50 meters you are in front of the hotel entrance on your left.***
